This policy explains what information Campaign Chess ("the app", "we") collects, why, and the choices you have. Campaign Chess is published by [legal name of the developer or company].
You can play as a guest. Guest games, your guest name, rating, record, avatar (including any photo you choose) and appearance settings are stored only on your device and are never sent to us. Unless you've bought Ad-Free, the app shows ads, and our advertising partner collects the data described under Advertising, for guests as well as account holders.

For players in the UK and similar regions, we process account data because it's necessary to provide the account you asked for (performance of a contract) and to keep the service secure (legitimate interests). For advertising we rely on your consent where the law requires it.
Unless you've bought Ad-Free, the app shows ads from Google AdMob: a banner on the home screen, and sometimes a full-screen ad after you leave a finished game. Ads never appear while you're playing. To show, measure and limit these ads, and to prevent fraud, Google's Mobile Ads SDK collects:
Google uses this data as described in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. We don't receive this data ourselves and don't combine it with your account.
Your choices:
We don't sell your personal information for money. Some laws, such as California's, treat letting an ad network collect data for targeted ads as "sharing" personal information. You can opt out of that by choosing Ask App Not to Track, by using Ad Privacy Choices, or by buying Ad-Free.
In-app purchases are handled entirely by Apple. We never receive your payment details. The app checks what you've bought on your device and doesn't send your purchases to our servers.
We don't collect your precise location, contacts, phone number or photos, and we don't use analytics or crash-reporting services of our own.
Accounts, friends and online games are stored using Google Firebase (Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Functions and Firebase Hosting), operated by Google as our data processor, in data centers in the United States. Google processes this data under its Data Processing Terms, which include safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses for data transferred internationally. Ads are provided by Google AdMob, which handles advertising data under Google's own privacy policy. Sign in with Apple, Google sign-in, Game Center and in-app purchases are provided by Apple and Google under their own privacy policies.
We keep your account data until you delete your account. When you delete it, we immediately remove your profile, username, rating, record, friends, friend requests, any free-upgrade records and your sign-in account. Online games you've played stay in your opponents' game history, but your username is replaced with "Deleted player" and your private Campaign plans are removed; the moves, result, rating changes and the rating you had at the time stay so your opponent's record still adds up. Any game still in progress is resigned on your behalf, and pending invitations are cancelled.
Accounts are intended for people aged [13] and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from younger children. If you believe a child has created an account, contact us and we will delete it. Anyone can play as a guest without an account.
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and for significant changes we'll let you know in the app.
